Hey there! It’s Lindsey Nelson!
I would love to tell you a little about myself! I am married, have a beautiful son and three adopted dogs. I was born & raised in Northern Virginia and still live there today.
I have always been a creative person and loved drawing and making art for as long as I’ve known. I studied Interior Design in school however came to the realization that it was more of a hobby. After going into a TOTALLY different career change, I had suppressed my creativity for the next couple of years. Drawing was put aside because I didn’t realize how important it was to myself. In May 2020 while home in the pandemic, I decided to create a watercolor painting for my mother-in-law. I had SO much fun painting and was reminded of how much I enjoyed creating art. I had received multiple painting requests after and tons of praise on my creations. This helped build my confidence and brought me to starting my own company! I adore sharing my artwork and hopefully will inspire others to follow their hidden passions as well!
Are you curious where the name Dogwood Farm Designs comes from?
Well, Virginia’s state flower is the Dogwood. Therefore I wanted to include my home state in the name. I also ADORE dogs. Having “dog” in the logo was a MUST! I also specialize in painting animals and plants!
